Give each shared campaign link a clear reporting label
Campaign tags help distinguish visits that arrive through different placements even when those visits reach the same page. A newsletter link and a social advertisement can share a destination but represent different activities in your reporting. Decide on the source, medium and campaign names before building several links. A short naming note prevents one teammate from using one spelling while another uses a different abbreviation.
ADJODO UTM Builder adds the labels you supply to a destination URL so you can copy a consistent link. It does not decide your measurement plan or connect an analytics account. The quality of later reporting depends partly on whether the chosen names distinguish the activities that your team actually wants to compare.
Start with the correct destination and required campaign fields
Paste the public page that the visitor should reach, then fill in the campaign fields offered by the builder. Source can identify the originating platform or publication, while medium describes the channel category used in your own naming system. Campaign should connect the link to a recognizable activity rather than a private remark only one person understands. Use the optional keyword and content fields when they serve a clear comparison, such as distinguishing two creative placements.
Keep personal data out of these values because query strings can appear in logs and shared messages. Inspect any parameters already present in the original URL before adding campaign tags. The generated link should retain the destination's necessary structure and carry the labels you intend.
Test a generated link before distributing it
Open the completed URL and confirm that it leads to the expected page. Review the query values for spelling, spacing and accidental empty fields. If your analytics system is installed, use its normal testing process to confirm how the visit is recorded. A builder cannot guarantee that a tag appears in a particular report because processing rules and collection settings are controlled elsewhere.
When producing several variants, keep the destination and campaign name fixed if those parts represent the same activity. Change only the fields needed to distinguish placements. Store the completed links in a shared campaign sheet together with their intended use. That makes it easier to avoid reusing an old label for a different launch and to interpret results after the campaign ends.
Keep tracking labels separate from private identifiers
UTM values are visible parts of a link and are unsuitable for passwords, access tokens or details about individual customers. They also do not replace click identifiers and event mapping in an attribution integration. A campaign can have useful UTM labels while its conversion measurement still needs separate configuration. Check whether a redirecting destination preserves the parameters by testing the exact generated link.
If a mobile or partner workflow uses its own required parameters, confirm that the added tags do not interfere with that template. Use URL Parser to inspect the final structure when necessary. Consistent labels make traffic easier to organize, but they cannot create missing events or establish that a visitor completed the action your campaign was designed to encourage.
